I didn't strap it to the roof of my car after I borr-, um, put it on there. And it blew off of my roof at 80mph when I was driving on I-35.

I got lucky, though. It bounced once and then an '84 Suburban coated in "Bush-Cheney '04" stickers smashed into it.

It turns out those '84 Suburbans are a really top-heavy! Fortunately, a barbed-wire fence and a tree line stopped them from rolling too far off the highway. So there wasn't really any debris left on the highway to be a traffic hazard.

I feel bad for the driver, though. All the beer stored in the refrigerated armrest surely sprayed all over the hulk of the Suburban, so I bet the State Patrol will have some interesting blood tests for him...
