19. Denis Leary would be nothing if not for his rampant plagiarism of Bill Hicks.

And even before I knew what a cheating shit he was, I did not find him funny. He has bad delivery, and he tries too hard to be what he is (come to find out, that's because he's trying to be Bill Hicks, and not himself).

I had little respect for him before, and have none now.

And the thing is, even when he's delivering Hicks' material, it doesn't come out funny. His timing and inflections are all off (and not just off in being Hicks, they're just off in general).

69. You know though, I always thought they had their second great era

starting in 1986 with Carvey, Hartman, Nealon, Jackson, Hooks, etc. Sandler and Farley were not bad. (They came a few years later). Some shows were hit and miss, but you could definitely watch an entire show from '86 to '93 or so, that was uproariously funny throughout. Definitely though, starting in 1994, the show lost it and has never regained it.
