Anyone else get The Big Book from the Census Department?

I got this big honkin booklet from the Census people, telling me I am REQUIRED BY LAW to tell them all kinds of personal information that I think is none of the Government's goddamn business by filling out about thirty pages of forms and mailing the booklet back to the Feds. Furthermore, they informed me that I am REQUIRED BY LAW to tell them the truth.

Fuck 'em. Want to know how DUMB these people are? The booklet was sent to RESIDENT at my address.

So what are they going to do when they figure out that I didn't fill out the forms? Issue an arrest warrent for "Resident, Current, of 123 This Street, Mytown, Connecticut?"

...I figure people ten years from now, when they get around to releasing the data, will like to know how little I made. :shrug:

2. I think this might get read sooner than ten years, because it's not a standard form...

they say "We use this data to figure out which communites need money for schools, affordable housing..." and a bunch of other blather.

It's WAY more questions, and WAY more personal ones, than on a standard 10-year Census form.
