4. I second that, and let me add
anything by Britney Spears, Celine Dion, any of the Boy Bands, the Lee Greenwood song (only because it's been co-opted by the mindlessly patriotic wingnuts and freakers), and that damned "I Can be your Hero", whoever the hell it's done by!

He's a hero in the Freeperville in which I live! Nothing like exploiting 9/11 and the military for $$$$. Wait, who does that sound like?

7. Ever read Sting's editorial in "The Onion"?
The headline is: "I used to be cool"

Basically, he's driving his kids to soccer practice in the minivan, and he hears this rockin' song on the radio. He turns it up to get a better listen, and hears that it's something from "Outlandos d'Amour". "Wow", he observes, "I used to rock!"...

30. Did AC/DC do anything good?
"Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" is a great line and a great title, but the song ain't. "Highway to Hell"...well just go then.

They come off extremely lame compared to the best bands of their era like Talking Heads and Elvis, or even B-52s or Bruce! (!!)

20. Oh, God, I HATE
that song, too, along with the one she did, "Hurting each other", I want to hurt the damn radio whenever I hear either one of those. I like some of their other stuff, but definitely not those two! And We've Only Just Begun gets on my nerves, too.

25. Any song by these throat-singing grunge wanna be idiots
who don't know that EVERY FREAKING SONG THEY PUT OUT SOUNDS THE SAME!!

Name a current band; chances are I hate them. NPR, KEOM locally, and KFOG over the internet are my refuge. Other than that I just listen to my same old CDs and wait for something fun to come out again.

The only things I've liked in a long time are Outkast and The Darkness (just because they don't sound like anyone else)

piece of hyper-"patriotic" SHIT that comes on the country station I listen to.

Unfortunately, I've had to switch stations quite frequently in the last couple of years.
