What's for dinner at your place?
I made beef bourguignon yesterday. It'll be perfect over egg noodles today. Vegetable of some kind on the side--haven't decided yet. Peach ice cream for dessert.

1. I just had chicken pot pie and a piece of garlic bread.
I might have a crunchy peanut butter & jelly sandwich later on or some tomato soup.

6. Oh, sorry.
I misread that one. I'm a smooth peanut butter girl myself--I forget the crunchy stuff exists.

So, I got four different flavors. Smooth, honey, crunchy and Reese's!

My son is loving it, to my surprise and is opting for PB&J sandwiches a lot lately! ;)

12. Nothing fancy
Good old hamburger/onions/tomato soup over rice. An old favorite. I did make a nice dessert, chocolate cake with buttercream frosting, from scratch.

14. I have no idea what ya'd call it
Im playing mad scientist.

Boiled a few leeks, carrots and celery stalks to soften up.

I chopped parsly, radishes, scallions, garlic, olives, jalapenos and chopped the carrots and added.

I heated some oil, toasted some fennel, added chop mixture with about 2 cups of chopped to hell tomatos, and 1 can of kidney beans.

Brought to boil and simmered like 5 min to wake it up. Removed from heat and added a big ole wad of philly cream cheese.

In a baking dish I put some of the chop mixture (now sauce) on bottom of dish and layered uncooked lasagna.

Then it was layer of sauce, layer of leek & celry, layer of mozzerela, lasagna, sauce, leek and celery, mozzerella, lasagna, sauce.

Covered with tin foil and its now baking in 350 degree oven. I am guessing 55min from now I'll remove foil, add chese and bake 5-10 minutes more.

I'll let ya know hehe

:hi:
