Heh heh - Geidi Prime as a spa!

Great inside joke, that!!

I laughed, but that then caused me to cough a lot, on account of the majorly excellent cold I have.

I'm watching that episode now.

3. It is in the episode "Drive"
In the very beginning, B'Elanna is negotiating with the Doctor for some holodeck time so she and Tom can enjoy some time together, so they can enjoy the "Geidi Prime spa".

7. And if you have a problem with any of the staff, just take their heart plugs out.
"How was your service tonight, sir? I ... (looking down at dead body and pool of blood) see. I am so sorry. Please, let me get you another server."

15. well, I think it's the best ensemble piece, Avery Brooks is the best captain
and the acting and plot development are excellent - almost Shakespearean.

Some of the characters - Garak, Quark, Gul Dukat, Jadzea, Kira, Odo - are so wonderfullly complex and become more fully realized as the seasons go by. It's even better than when I watched em the first time. It's cool that it's not on a starship - and I think that once you get past the exposition of DS( itself and expand their horizons a bit - it gets better and better. It's not Babylon 5, but it's as close as a ST series can get, IMO.

Garak and Dukat seem right out of Shakespeare in their devious complexities!

or, as the Baron refers to them, the "pain amplifiers."

16. Heh! I'm rereading DUNE right now!
I also own the SciFi Channel miniseries and just got done watching that.

Frank Herbert is a freaking genius. Calling DUNE a sci-fi book is like calling "The Lord of the Rings" a story about elves.
