Whatcha' doin' this weekend?
Edited on Fri Sep-14-07 12:14 PM by LaraMN
My plans include: homework, work work, housework, and hopefully a smidge of indulgence in leisure pursuits of a yet-to-be-determined nature. Probably naked boxing.

How 'bout you?

4. I was thinking about crashing a wedding in New Jersey
Edited on Fri Sep-14-07 12:20 PM by Gormy Cuss
Then I realized that the bridezillas would beat the crap out of me so instead I'll stay home and do the usual - bike rides, gardening, laundry.

I have a feeling that would be an AWESOME wedding to attend!

15. My husband was less than pleased that I turned on the furnace.
I think he burned in Hell for awhile before being reincarnated in his present form.
He has an aversion to warmth and would prefer the temperature in the house be at about sixty degrees. I would like to not die in my sleep of hypothermia.

:P

I thought JP was kidding.

It was 44 here the other night. No furnace til Oct. or later in this house, if we can avoid it.

But wasn't it warmer than usual there last year?

You have my sympathy. I was celebrating being able to wear jeans, boots and jackets again, but it sounds like you guys have to get out your woolies!

7. No family or work commitments for a change...
So I will have lots of 'me' time for gardening, farmers' market, shopping, housecleaning, watching football, and just relaxing. Maybe I'll go for a long walk. Mmmmmm......

meeting with a potential new office mate (one of my colleagues retired), and watching the men watch the Stillers. Maybe going to see a pal's band at a local arts fest.

Oh and cooking, and yardwork, and making lists of house stuff that needs to be fixed. :(

22. Taking my old cats to the farm
That's not a euphemism.

They've decided to stop using the litter box, so they'll be spending their golden years on my boss's farm. I feel bad, they've been in door cats all their lives, but the only other option was having them put down, and they were born on that farm, so in away, they're going home.

37. lotta work to do
My mom's appt with the man who will be my new PO in WA went well, and it will be merely weeks before I get to head home. Which means I have to go through ALL of my crap and decide what I can take, what I will leave to my ex, what will get thrown out, and what is in good enough shape to donate to Goodwill.
Need to locate some boxes, and start packing what I won't need to have my hands on over the next couple of weeks.

I'm so excited and so sad at the same time. I want to go back home and I miss my family and there's so much more opportunity for me to get back on my feet back home.... but this has been my home for almost 4 years. My ex is still my friend and I will miss him, I'll miss the friends I've made.
