Is there any way to clean them that doesn't take hours and look totally sloppy? We're moving out on Thursday and I'm at the point I'd like to just throw these out and buy new ones. We've already had to buy new ones for two windows since cats + window sills = new Venetian blinds....
but the best method I've found is to take them outside and put them on the driveway. Wash them with the hose and a sponge or something. Let dry, then dust off the leaves, etc. that have landed on them while drying.
5. I think I'll try the shower method suggested downthread
I'll admit I was surprised by how inexpensive they are, only like $8-$10, but I've spent so much on cleaning supplies that I'd rather not spend even more on new blinds.
ON EDIT: I need to get down and dirty and scrub the hell out of the shower tomorrow, so I'll just stop this nonsense tonight and do it all at one time.
