Poll question: Is 'Family Guy' the funniest show in teevee history?
Besides "Monty Python's Flying Circus," of course. But that goes without saying.

1. I'm beginning to think so
stoned or not, I never fail to howl w./ laughter at least 1X a episode.

The "Prom Night Dumpster Baby" song...jesus. Pure gold.

6. It's the funniest animated show I've ever seen.
I was never really a Simpsons guy though.

10. Yep! "That's 'R', as in 'Robert Loggia', 'O' as in 'Oh my God, it's Robert Loggia"
And "Okay, I got a crate of Ipecac - whoever throws up last gets the last piece of pie".

12. Season One almost scared me away. Glad I stuck with it.
I think they softened up the Stewie character.

13. My opinion of it has increased measurably
We have taken to watching it both on Faux and the reruns on Cartoon Network. It can be brilliant at times.

I still have to rank it below both Python and 1990-1995 Simpsons (its most immediate forebear), but it is ready for my pantheon. :D

15. While I love 'Family Guy'...I don't think it is as funny as...
Monty Python's Flying Circus, Blackadder, Saturday Night Live (in its heyday), or the Simpsons

18. No. I could list at least 30 programs that were funnier.
Family Guy hasn't anything on:

The Larry Sanders Show
The Simpsons (Seasons 3-9)
Futurama
All in the Family
Cheers
Frasier
M*A*S*H
Monty Python's Flying Circus
Fawlty Towers
Roseanne (Seasons 1-6)
