DU tech experts, I need a suggestion
What anti-virus software should I get to replace norton?

It has to be effective, of course, but cheap is also a consideration.

7. Expensive yes, but
Norton (at least the current Version) is pretty good.

For good detection I'd recommend:
-AntiVirusKit 2004 professional http://www.antiviruslab.com/e_product.php?lang=gb
-F-Secure http://www.f-secure.com/
-McAffee
-Norton

9. because
I'm constantly getting conflicts with my OE6. It "unplugs" my email accounts.

For business reasons, I can't replace OE6. So the Norton has to go.

4. Replacing Norton could be interesting...
I've heard from some of my more tech-savvy friends that those things don't like to uninstall, and consequently interfere with the new anti-virus software you install.

But to give you an alternative to Norton, McAfee isn't too bad.

6. NAV 2004 is getting rather bad reviews on amazon.com
I plan to stick with NAV 2003 and get a year's subscription to updates.

8. McAfee has been good to me.
Still supported after 3 years. Reasonable price. Easy updates.
