16. You know, that is how I got out of being homeless in Ann Arbor.

I was living in my back packing tent (a well-equipped homeless person) in a cemetery in Ann Arbor. I was catching a ride on the campus bus when it passed an apartment complex with a sign out for day labor.

I hiked back to it, and when they asked me what I could do, I told them I could replace a toilet in 20 minutes, not counting carrying stuff into and out of the unit or cleanup. This was a lie, but I'm great at figuring things out. It took me about 2 hours to work up to one toilet every 20 minutes for $5/hour cash. 2 days later they hired me full time, and let me stay in a trashed unit.

I got wax all over me, all over the floor, and all over all my equipment. It's disgusting because the wax so resembles what you flush down the toilet.
