Possibly the most depressing animated movie I have ever seen.
Maybe even the most depressing period.

Of all movies.

Ever.

A good, thoughtful movie.

I guess I'd recommend it.

But still.

2. Have you ever read the book?
I haven't seen the movie but I've read the book a number of times. Wonderful, wonderful book but very tough to read at times. I love the ending, though. :hi:

4. I don't think this was "that" ending then.
I had a copy of the book with both endings.

I think there was an afterword or something that Adam's revised it because it wasn't realistic.

3. Haven't seen that one
I did see a really sad one about a bunch of dogs who did the Iditerod run (before it was a contest) for drugs for I think an outbreak of German measles among the settlers. That was another weepy one.
