Who plays "Miss Laurie" on PBS Kids?

The family was watching Curious George this morning, and the host of the PBS Kids segments, one "Miss Laurie," looks VERY familiar, but I can't figure out why, and I can't seem to find anything online indicating who she is. Does anybody out there know?
