The thread pertained to the EZ Bake oven; I was citing parallels to Hasbro's award-losing approach of replacing a harmless (and takes-forever-to-heat) lightbulb with a real heating element to speed up the cooking of food... plus the subsequent recall as far too many children ended up with burnt fingers (and hopefully ONLY fingers...)
