Thanks Lounge, for the vibes.
I went to the dermatologist today. The thing I thought was a suspicious mole was actually an angioma and nothing to worry about. He took a look at all of my skin, and double checked a rather dark mole on my chest (with the magnifier), and I got a clean bill of health.

I also had an actinic keratosis on my face that he froze off (I had previously had it frozen off, but it grew back).

He said, "See you in a year."

Not really thrilled about the keratosis, but it is not carcinoma, and it is definitely not melanoma.

and other parts of my body, as well. :D

I'm vigilant about going ever since my maternal grandmthr died from melanoma. :(

15. We do seem to have a lot in common, don't we?
one of these days we'll hopefully meet in person.... :pals:

btw, it's entirely possible we ARE actually cousins. I have 29 first cousins, I kid you not!!
7 on my dad's side and 22 on my mom's side, the good Irish Catholic side! One of my aunts had 11 children!! :wow:
I'm not really in touch with all the cousins on my mom's side, so hey, ya never know....
