Just had my first "seeded" watermelon in years!

What a difference....I forgot how tastier the watermelons with seeds are, the kind we grew up on, compared to all the tasteless seedless watermelons...The seeded melons are so much juicer and tastier...I'd forgotten...

I obviously don't know what its like where you live but here in northern CA you just can't find the tastier seeded watermelons, only the seedless shit is sold in all the grocery stores!

Some of the local organic farmers grow the seeded watermelons but they are usually snatched up very quickly at the farmers markets. I bought this one, (big long one) at the local Co-Op...Now i never want to go back to the seedless ones again....Just can't grow them here on the north coast though...
