What would you like to come home to?
So Mrs. Robb has been gone for a week (if you were wondering why the dingbatitude has been so prolific), and she returns Sunday night. I'm thinking it would be nice to get the place ready for her, and I'm covering the obvious stuff like cleaning the house, dinner, etc. (best Mrs. Robb quote ever: "Nothing is sexier than a clean house.").

What else? What would make you happy to come home to after a week of... well, actually, she was on her annual Chick Trip, so it wasn't particularly stressful or anything... but anyhow?

1. Sounds like you have the basics down
so you are ahead of most folks. I would suggest doing something she would love, but would NEVER expect. That always gets 'em.

3. Traveling is always a little stressful.
A couple of options.

1. Meet her at the door nekkid and "do her" up against a wall or a piece of furniture or the living room floor or whatever is closest. I'm going on the assumption that she missed you as much as you missed her.

2. When she gets home, go get her bags and carry them in for her. Take her coat. Sit her down at the table and feed her dinner. Ask her about her trip. Cuddle up with her on the couch when you're done with dinner and snuggle for a while. :-)

4. I agree, except that I might prefer the cuddle before dinner
But that's just me.

5. Either way works
I just know I would love to come home and find dinner already ready most nights. I suppose if he doesn't have dinner already finished when she gets home they could cuddle while it's cooking. Then she could have the joy of sitting on the couch and watching a man cook...that's always fun. :-)

7. Dinner!
Go someplace that turns out good comfort food - nothing fancy, but something that both of you really enjoy - and have it ready for a final warming after she gets settled in.

Be sure to have your beverage of choice available...and top it off with your dessert of choice!

And, perhaps, a little vase with a single, perfect red rose....on the table.

8. Freshly washed bed linens and a neatly made bed...
with a plate of chocolate mints, choc covered strawberries, or choc chip cookies and a champagne split chilling on the bedside table.
