8. Much better than I expected

I worried that they wouldn't be able to keep the "low-fi" charm of the TV show in a big movie, but they nailed it.

13. The series is SO good. I was disappointed in the movie.

For one thing, the whole premise of the concept is "Reno," just creating one image of a place that is so backward or wacky or whatever: Who KNOWS what the real Reno is really like. So what in Olypus's name led them to take everybody to Miami? If the writers wanted to play with the Cuban drug lord world or whatever-in-Miami, they could have had those elements invade Reno and it would have stuck out more and been funnier.

And just, overall, the movie wasn't so sharp, funny, focused.
