What is it with people writing 'then' when they mean 'than'?
i.e. "This is bigger then W's asshole."

I've been seeing this so much lately that it's gettin' up there with "your/you're," "it's/its" and the like.

1. I've actually never seen this.
Now that I have, however, I'll probably start seeing it everywhere.

5. It's only slightly less hateful than people writing "of" when they mean "have."

ARRRRGH. :banghead:

Edit: As is apparently a law of nature, my post complaining about incorrect use of language contained a typo. :D

7. Yeah... and 'rediculous' too.
I refuse to turn into Avril Incandenza about it, though it does bother me *greatly*.

15. I may have already told you this...
...but for years, I've often driven way out of my way to shop at the grocery store with express lanes that say "12 items or fewer" instead of "...or less." When I read Infinite Jest, that little detail made me a confirmed DFW fan for life.

16. I used to role my eyes at the your/yore and their/there things
until I found myself doing them. It happens when you write fast and don't proofread. Plus, it's like my hands are determined to type 'and' instead of 'an'. Like, maybe I write 'and' too much, you know?
