This is why I plan to become a professional bullshitter. Writing fiction is great in that way.

Republicanism: lying to line your pockets at the expense of others. Lying because they don't know you're lying and you feel better about yourself as a result.

2. It works well in writing
But it's so much work otherwise. You have to remember all the stories and keep them straight - I'm lousy at that.

I do well at the one-time-only bullshit sessions, the ones that take place with people I'll never meet again.
