I just found out my cousin had a miscarriage.

About an hour ago. Earlier in the night they noticed the baby had stopped moving and went to the doctor, where they were told. What's bad is the baby was six months along, which means they have to go ahead with the birth.

This was their first child, a boy, and they were so happy about the possibility. I know my cousin and I talked about how we'd turn him into a big sports fan, like us, and take him to all the games around town.

His name is Jaxon.

2. My X went through that once

We were not together at the time, but I went to see her at the hospital as I was in town at the time.

She had always wanted a girl (we had had 3 boys together) and this was one.

She was in a birthing room, and I could tell it hurt her. Gave her a hug.

Her damn BF at the time (later to be her husband) never bothered to show up.

As an aside, the X died 2 years ago.

I still remember though that day I saw her, I knew it hurt her deeply. I hugged her and she cried.

So I can empathize with your cousin - such things can suck and hurt for a long time.

I hope she does well, good vibes and prayers out for her.

6. I hated her for some time

Took off with the kids for 8 years. Hell it was months before I knew she had died, only knew because my little boy called me and told me about it. He was 14. When I left he was 4, last time I saw him he was 6.

Still have not talked to my middle son, Nathaniel.

My oldest son lived with me for a spell, that did not go well

Overall, I forgave her - but the pain of what she did - even after I kept being nice to her - still lingers today.

I did not want her to die, or to lose her daughter. And I am sad about both.

Even more sad to me, she finally had her little girl - and that is what eventually led to her death. She only had half a kidney and other issues, and should not have had another child at her age. Her daughter, named after the sister she lost at 13, was 6 when her mom died.

It all sucked, and while I hurt - it is mainly for those most affected by it. My kids and her daughter.

5. My condolences to your cousin and her husband.

My youngest sister miscarried at just over 3 months. It was heartbreaking. She and my BIL have since had a son, but I know it hurt them deeply to lose the first one.
