Poll question: What has your winter been like so far?

For purposes of this poll, say winter began Dec. 1. We have had mild and cold extremes in the Philly area, so I am going to vote for the normal winter option.

It will be interesting to see what the average vote is.

Virginia has had like 12 cold days so far...what February brings???

2. Cold, bitter cold.

Wind chill hit -72 last week and we're nowhere near Mt Washington. But I think it will make me stronger and the Spring all that much sweeter...if it ever comes!

4. CBC was reporting this morning that it looked like another year of drought

because it's been so warm.

THis time of year we're supposed to have about a foot of snowpack. What we have would probably melt off in a day of early spring weather.

Unless we get one shitload of rain in early spring we're gonna have a failed wheat crop, forest fires, problems with a variety of wildlife and drinking water.

6. Ridiculously cold

It was -10 most of the morning. My boss said the thermometer read -18 at his place. It was like this my first Wisconsin winter too. The oldest guy at work though says that it used to be alot colder most winters. I've only been here 7 years (I guess that isn't too short of time though)so I don't know how it was 20 years ago. It's probably been my secons coldest winter.
