She entered the hospital today. She is very depressed since her mother (my grandmother died) in March.
Please pray (or whatever) that she gets better, that the medications and nurses help her.

Been through some hard times myself and I can tell ya there is not much more uplifting than having folks praying or passing along good vibes in a bad situation.

I have hope for her and that she will do ok in it all.

They will help, but it will take time and love from all involved. I am still dealing with the loss of my mom 2.5 years ago. Much better now, but you don't really get over such things - but you can manage and deal with them.

Losing mom I lost a big chunk of who I was in some ways. It was a shock, and still is to me.

I got counseling, took meds, and have done better. She will too.

Right now she needs love, understanding, and not having people be judgmental towards her.

I pray she does ok with it, that people (outside yourself as I don't see you that way) don't kick her ass over what she feels and tell her to 'get over it'.

Let her know that there are many, many, people out there who have dealt with loss and she is not alone. We feel for her and wish her the best.

You are so right about the whole "get over it" business. Her brothers told her to get over it!!!!
That's is just crap. I do not think anyone can just snap out of it. She had been taking grief counseling. This is just to help a little bit more.
