Re: Medicare Rx plan & my grandpa (who's 95)
My grandpa said he woke up in a cold sweat the other night and was thinking to himself, "You know, you can get anything you want imported to America like cars, steel, etc., but the only thing you can't get is drugs."

(He's one of those guys that fell in the doughnut hole without any coverage and can't get them from Canada anymore in addition to that now!)

2. Oh NNNOOOOO he's not!
He's a lifelong Democrat politician himself! He is actually getting afraid of the way things are going politically. He's been here on earth for 95 years and he said he's never seen it so bad! He's always been optimistic about politics and always has had faith in the system but he says it's taking a bad course. He has all his marbles still, and lives independently and drives, too! He never lost an election either.

3. What does he need?
Maybe there's an herbal that can offer some relief.

4. He actually has blocked arteries
and they won't do any surgery because of his age so he just takes Lipitor for cholesterol and a blood pressure pill and Prilosec for his stomach. But they are really expensive and you can't get the generic.

5. That's rough.
Does he eat a lot of greasy animal fat? Sometimes cutting that out, and butter as well will start unplugging his arteries. Have you tried to get him to eat only fish? Just a suggestion. Maybe at his age it won't make that big of a difference.

6. LOL
He's practiced more healthy habits and preventative healthcare than anyone I've ever known. He only eats chicken or fish, skim milk only, rarely eats fast food, has a drink every so often, doesn't smoke, and used swimming everyday as exercise until he was 90! He still gets up every morning and does a few sit ups and some calisthenics! Yes, he can't do much more than what he's doing. At least he's still going and still has his intelligent mindful wisdom i can still learn from! He's probably healthier than me except that his body is 95! LOL Thanks for the advice though!

7. I think that's why he's so mad that he falls through the
crack for coverage! He spent all of his life trying to be healthy and was frugal with spending so now he has too much money to qualify for coverage yet spends too much on the few expensive drugs he takes. That's what he gets for doing what you're supposed to do! Now he says he's thinks he's going to outlive his money!
