my son is a thoughtless, selfish SOB
there.... I said it

I did not raise him this way. I'm beginning to think the body snatchers have gotten hold of him.

I spent 2 hours cleaning my car on Sunday. His car is out of commission right now, so sometimes at night he borrows mine. He borrowed it last night. I got in it this morning and it smelled like an ashtray. My first thought was that if I confronted him, he would just deny it and say the smell was on his clothes. Then I found the ashes on the floor.

I have repeatedly asked him not to smoke in my car.

My car is only 7 months old and it still smelled like a new car.... until now.

1. This too will pass... in about a decade!
Tell him he can't have your car anymore until he learns to respect it, and you. :-)

2. Sorry he's being so boorish.
I guess this means he needs to find a different car to borrow, right?

3. Is he between 17 and 21? I remember being a wanker then too.
As were all my friends. I think it's inevitable for us. The 'wanker years' if you will.

5. Sorry to hear that.
Ozium + Febreeze should take care of the smell. Your son OTOH..... can't help you there.

6. Time to quit letting him use the car
If you've asked him repeatedly, there's no excuse. Don't feed the fire. Let him walk.
