Just had this like mutual break up with my girlfriend. BEST BREAK UP EVER!
Sounds weird, I know, I know but we both knew it was coming, you could just feel it. Instead of being mean to one another we just were kind and sweet. It was nice, we reminisced about old memories and talked about how nice it was to be together and share this past 4 odd years together. We just grew apart and we both knew it. And to boot we talked it all over outside and this cold front moved in. We had a little bad storm, but then it was a beautiful sunset.

It was almost like this should have been a movie or something.

We were obviously a little sad to be leaving one another after that time, but you know we just kind of talked about it and it was really because we just enjoyed it and it we knew it was time to move on.

Now I feel relieved, I feel like a freer new person, a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. Damn I probably shouldn't feel this way, but I feel good about the whole thing now.

I wish all of these break ups could go like that.

I propose a toast, to a new future! :toast:

2. We're both nice people, we just weren't meant to be together.
I think that had something to do with it.

5. Nothing can be that simple, there must be some kind of catch
Sooner or later there must be suffering

7. Well, I was sad for a little while.
But I realize that it's not because we're leaving each other, but that we had a good time and now it's just over.

6. That's awesome, congrats...
How cool that you found someone on the same wavelength. I don't know why people have to take it so personally. You should feel good, and it's a pure kind of good.. you know she knows the score, so you can move on freely. It's a world full of possibilities! (What a great feeling.)

8. I think it's because it all happened at the same time...
usually it's one person leaving another, not two people leaving each other, if that makes sense. Someone is still happy with the way things are going, and they are angry that it's ending. We both agreed it just wasn't like it was and it was time to move on.

9. Congrats
You SHOULD make a movie out of it... then, when someone wants to break up, he or she could just send the other person the DVD with a note saying "pretend this is us."

10. Now that's clever!

I can see it now:
Want to break up, want it to be beautiful, know it ain't gonna happen in a million years like that?

Buy the "Perfect Break Up" at these fine stores. (Roll stores in local area.)
