Do you have something you're stupidly lazy about?

For me, it's filing. I do all my bill paying, mail opening, etc. at my desk and there's a file cabinet right next to it. But instead of just filing things as I go, I toss the stuff in a metal basket on the desk and then when it's completely overflowing, I spend about an hour sorting through it and filing it.

And I know it's stupid as I do it and I do it anyway. :banghead:

1. I don't keep the recycling sorted the way I should

So I end up standing in the heat at the landfill separating it there. (And I clean out my car there , too, lol)

My garage is awash in milk bottles, tin cans, newspaper and Smithwicks 6 packs. We are having people over this weekend and it all has to go.

3. ironing

we don't own a dryer so all work shirts must be ironed. I hate doing it.

4. Filing for me too...

Both at home and at work. And I have people to do it FOR me at work so I really have no excuse.

And cleaning out the catalogue basket at home. To recycle glossies here, you have to bag them up and I hate doing it so I let catalogues pile up forever.

5. Putting away my laundry

I just assume throw one thing into the dryer to get the wrinkles out than hang them up when they first come out of the dyer. I know, not very economical or earth friendly of me.:yoiks:

well it's been 10 days since I've cleaned my bathroom and mopped my floors. That should be a clue..

8. I was so bad about that when I was first divorced

It was so nice to have a house to myself (except the kids) - I'd just dump all the laundry on my king size bed. The laundry took up about half of it and the four Boxers and the Beagle took up most of the other half. I had a small section but the dogs and I just slept all piled up on each other. I loved it and pretty much lived in there.

I finally cleaned off the bed and made a list of everything I found on it. I don't have the list anymore but it looked something like this -

12 loads of laundry
8 newspapers
5 books
3 magazines
2 crossword puzzle books
2 pens
1 broken pencil
1 screwdriver
2 plates
1 spoon
3 forks
1 flea collar
4 lighters
1 empty juice box
1 empty beer bottle
1 can ravioli (unopened)
1 plastic dinasaur
3 stuffed animals
1 squeaky hamburger

you get the idea. :P
