To whoever recommended Jacob's Ladder....
Thank you. It was a great movie, but it was fucked up and a little exhausting. If you haven't seen it, it's incredible. We just finished it. We had never heard of it until someone on here, I'm sorry I can't remember who, told us about it.

1. I saw it when it first came out.
A very disturbing movie, but a very GOOD movie.

5. I did, too
I was with a bunch of friends, I think they were expecting another Rambo clone. At the very end, one of them yelled out "What the fuck was that?" and a lot of people laughed.

I dunno, I got it, I liked it. I'll still watch it now and then.

2. Should have seen Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge instead.
Was a French short film that was bought by Rod Serling and shown as a Twilight Zone episode years ago. Having seen that, I guessed what would happen at the end of JL. Similar plot twist.

4. "Jacob's Ladder" is one of my ultimate "mindfuck" movies.
I first saw it when I was in my early teens, on a lark. That'll mess up a high school freshman's head but good.

Eventually, in college, I saw it again. In a class for which I had to write a paper on it. Reliving the second viewing for the purpose of writing the paper about it was traumatic.

11. It's an excellent movie. Worth watching.
A trivial aside- did you recognize the young boy? It was a young uncredited Macaulay Culkin in his first screen role.
