try a pie tin or a shallow cardboard box (with a plastic bag over it for wetness proofing)

it will help him. also, if he 'misses' put some of the clean up stinky stuff (buried under some litter in the box so he'll know where he 'should' be going

13. Yeah, he had an accident, so

I did just that, and put the box where he decided to go. He's fine with hopping in and out of the box, no problem. He just hasn't quite fully grasped the concept yet. But, I can report that all excretory organs are very functional, and he knows enough to clean up afterwards. He's a voracious little eater! :o

24. So lucky! I found a little girl on my block and brought her home

so she wouldn't become roadkill. After a week of watching her, I think she fell out of a window because she has something like spasms in her hind quarters. :(

Her coat is wonderful and she purrs up a storm. But there's something going on back there. I'm going to take her to my vet on Monday. She's so sweet, maybe a year old. Wish us luck!

Beware of the nipples. She was younger than Practice Baby, so you may not have the problem we had. But Suki not only tried to taste my nose, she practically pierced my ear and tried to get dinner from my nipple when we fell asleep with her on the couch.

61. I think he ate too much though...

I couldn't find the soft food she was giving him, so I had to get a different kind (situation to be remedied tomorrow), and he really liked it, and ate a ton, and then had a loose movement. I'm sure it's the food change and stress though, as the one he had earlier was perfectly normal. He's thirsty too, possibly dehydrated and/or missing milk. But, he's an incredibly lively and hilarious baby. Nice bright clear eyes, tons of energy. I think we'll be just fine. :)

When the kitten's on a nice slippery linoleum floor, swirl the laser dot around it. If you do it right, you can get it to spin around at full throttle while going absolutely nowhere!

My record is ten complete circles with my kitten, The Fluff. After that many, they can't run straight for a minute or two, either. :evilgrin:
