OK. I Admit It. I Don't Like Chocolate

Does that make me a bad person? I just prefer salty treats rather than sweet. Chocolate in particular is repellent to me. Give me a bag of Lays potato chips any day.

Glad to know someone else doesn't like choc. A woman at work offered me some Godiva yesterday and when I turned it down she acted like I was some sort of weirdo! Well yeah, I am kinda weird, but I just don't like chocolate. Get over it.

I'm doing a roast loin of pork with apples tonight for my ex and his daughter. I found a great vinaigrette recipe for the salad too that I want to try tonight.

2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp cassis liqueur
2 tbsp balsamic vineagr
handful of raspberries

blend all ingredients together and drizzle over salad.

I hope it turns out OK!

Actually, I'm a vinegar afficianado, myself. I just learned about strawberries dipped in balsamic vinegar and black pepper. mmmmmmm....

It doesn't taste of anything other than sugar and milk - real chocolate (70% of higher cocoa solids) is gorgeous, but one can't consume very much due to its intensity.

I prefer salty too but there are some sweets I enjoy. Caramel is good, but I prefer to eat sweet/tart and/or fruity type of sweets like nerds, sour patch kids or skittles. Basically Easter was better for me than Halloween in the candy dept as a kid (except for the yucky peeps).
