i HATE it when people don't return calls......

there is a "for sale by owner" house that i am interested in. i have called THREE times and left messages that i am interested in information on this house and to please return my call. NOTHING!!! do they not want to sell the house??

i also hate it when people, who i am willing to pay for something, don't show up for appointments. a few years ago i needed my carport replaced. two different people i called said they would come by to look and never showed or called. same with termite people. called, set up appointment, no show. is my money no good? is it because i am a female and they think that i don't have any money or they would rather deal with a man?

Our tenants' rent check bounced and we have been trying to get hold of them for THREE WEEKS now :mad: :puke:

Either way, I'd be looking to regain control of the property ASAP.

Sorry your tenants are being a headache. I used to manage rental property, so unfortunately I know how that goes.

5. We don't know

we are 700 miles away. My husband was transferred and we thought it would be a good investment to rent it out.

It happened before and after she was taken to court, she paid - it looks as if they are still living there.

She cried crocodile tears when we filed for eviction previously as her children are settled in schools there ...

We are so FRUSTRATED :cry: We cannot put it on the market as we don't know whether she will allow agents in - and everytime we take her to court it costs us an arm and a leg :cry:

6. Can you send her her 3 day notice with a signature confirmation?

Long term, you're either going to have the best renter in the universe in there or contract with a local property management company.

Do you have local counsel? Most eviction attorneys have a staff person who does process service, and they get and keep the job by being genius at getting people to open the door and take the papers.

PM me if you need any help with this situation, as I mentioned I used to manage rental property, so up until last year this sort of mess was my professional expertise.

it amazes me how damned hard it is to find people to work, it's like :wtf:

I mean if someone says that they will come and inspect your house for termites, why would they not show up and get paid?

Or paint my house. Or work on my electric. Or my plumbing to replace some lines.

You'd think there was so much work out there that they were able to pick and choose what they wanted.
