Now I see why y'all call Target the 100 dollar store....Jeebus!
We went there for a fan, a bathing suit, and paper towels, essentially. We just got home with: a fan, a bathing suit, 2 beach towels, paper towels, fabric softener, detergent, kitchen cleaner, a new bath mat, a new shower curtain, and a new shower curtain liner...

And damn, it's tough to find a suit that isn't a bikini! Grrrr....

:hi:

1. It could be worse!
You could have spent $100 & forgot to get something that was on your list. So you have to make a second trip to get that one thing you really need & pick up even more extra stuff.

Not that I would know that from experience or anything. :hide:

11. LOL that was my Target adventure yesterday!
Made a list, forgot the list at home, recreated the list on the fly while waiting at a stoplight, got everything on the list...except for the one thing I really wanted (one of those bars with a bunch of clips on it for hanging mops and brooms and such). D'oh!

8. my poor Grill, when we moved to Texas the first thing we bought after we moved into
our new house was a Weber grill, not any furniture mind you, a grill and since then i've used that grill at least twice a week for the past 10 years and now it's just a goner. It is time to give it a ceremonial send off, i'd like to give a viking send off, maybe i can build it a raft, light it up and put it the pool.

19. I know there's a course nearby there
Haruka's stepdad plays. My BIL and Dad like to play, too. Maybe they can all go out Sunday if their hangovers aren't too fierce.

Since when has he played golf?

That way, it doesn't take me most of the damned day! PLus, the best parts of my game are my chipping and putting.

I don't do big box stores. But I do the same thing at resale shops. I actually go looking for ONE THING. It happened to me the other day. I went to one I can walk to, looking for a popcorn popper. And bought so much stuff that I had to leave it there and come back with my car. And they didn't have a popcorn popper.
