7. A high fiber cereal bar.
I ate it because I'd just taken a couple of Nuprins. I have found that taking meds with food gets it into my system faster.

I feel like crap today. I don't know why I feel like crap and and I need to go to the gym and the grocery store.

Can I get some sympathy here or is this only a food thread?

:)

gotta watch some of those kettle chips...the salt-and-vinegar ones can really do ya' in, thirstwise...kinda' heavy on the oils, too. Food Channel had a segment on how they made 'em. Not the healthiest things around; but, boy are they good. :D

43. Taro cookies!
Edited on Fri May-18-07 07:05 PM by KamaAina
one of the volunteers left a tray for us.

They're pretty much like regular shortbread cookies, but with just enough taro to give them that distinctive purplish tinge. Ono! Having to pull the individual wrapping off of each cookie is rather a pain, though...

edit; spelling

47. Chow mei fun -- Singapore noodles

from Sam Woo BBQ (SoCal types may know what I'm talking about....mmmmmmmmmm). Food of the gods.

I was going to have a protein shake (probably the chocolate rather than the fruit option: Spirulina protein powder, frozen banana, milk, and ice cubes in a blender) but I was overcome by a lust for those spicy noodles that could not be sated by more sensible dietary choices and, besides, I've got cause to celebrate. :D

Tomorrow, it's protein shakes and some halfway-sane meal. :-)

Though, really, if you've read a thread I posted last night you'll know that I've already rapidly rid myself of 280 pounds of ugly fat. :P
