Why do I keep getting sick?!?!

This is my first year at college and I've never gotten sick so many times in my life. Since August 2006 to May 2007 I've had two 24 hour flus, 1 week long flu, and about 5 colds. This is insanity, I eat well, I excersize frequently, get plenty of sleep, and am young. Can anyone make sense of this? I was just getting over a cold but this morning I woke up with a soar throat and I think I feel some flu like symptoms setting in. I just don't get it...

1. I was sick a whole lot more in my college years.

Stress, partying, no sleep, and not letting myself ever heal properly. My immunity was shot to hell!

Germs from all over the world + stress = sick. I got sick tons of times my first year, too. It gets better!! :hug:

Besides the no sleep, partying, etc. . . that was mentioned.

Wash your hands frequently. Sanitize (wipes) your room (door knobs, etc.) Don't share cups/glasses.

How about your roomie? Are they getting sick? Others on your floor?

There's your answer right there, the younger you are, the more often you are sick. I am 40 now and I don't get sick nearly as often as I used to.
