17. Reminds me of my daughter, too

We'd be in the car driving somewhere and my wife would start talking to me about something, and my daughter would inevitably start talking a few seconds later. My wife would get frustrated sometimes at being cut off...

so, about a year ago, I tried to explain to my daughter that it was bad manners to interrupt somebody else while they were talking. Then, i said she should say "excuse me" first.

So, my wife opens her mouth and, literally, as soon as her first syllable is finished, we get "Excuse me" from the back seat, and then she kept repeating "excuse me" until my wife finally gave up.
