Falcon hatching watch
No, it isn't happening yet, but most likely some time this coming week.

2. They always hatch when I'm not looking!
One of our NH falcons hatched yesterday when I was busy doing something else.

(When they ask you to log in, just click "OK"). I'll be keeping a sharp eye on your little guys to see if I can catch them in the act! Happy peregrine watching!

3. I can't see yours
 My computer has blocked the active X or whatever it is, and I don't know how to disable it.

4. Awwwww
Wish I could help, but I'm helpless with computers. Just imagine that your peregrine has a twin sister and her eggs are about to hatch in exactly the same kind of nest as her sister in NH. (The mother is obscuring the view of the hatchling now, anyway).

6. I am guessing that the first eyas will begin hatching
by the end of this week or next weekend. I love the Rochester site. The only thing that would make it better is if it refreshed a little quicker.

7. Our two nests
have been hatching, one on Earth day, and the other on Friday. I am hoping to be on the banding crew this year, I haven't heard yet.

8. Not fair!

You just had to tell us about your TWO nests, didn't you? They look great, by the way. It's funny to see how cute the hatchlings are, and how ugly they get to be when they molt!

9. We're very proud of our progress

in bringing back peregrines to Pittsburgh. We've been very successful, and our chicks have ranged far and wide. It's so funny that something so fluffy cute gets so ugly than so sleek and beautiful in such a short time period!

11. I work with the vet that does all their vet stuff
He's a complete ass most of the time (and a big ol' dork), but his commitment to wildlife is amazing.
