Sigh....another trip to Costco for one item that ended up being a shopping cart full...
....of stuff.

But hey! I got enough laundry detergent and soy milk and shampoo to last until the end of the Bush misadministration.

I'm pretty sure they have little gnomes working there that put things in your cart.

3. And the 14 dollar tennis shoes that are really decent quality.
Which is really the item I went in for and somehow managed to rack up a 162 dollar tab.

They should sell some of those blinders they put on horses so you won't be distracted by all the good stuff.

5. They have a huge float that we are planning to get for our vacation
it is about $60.

The whole family (about 10 people) is renting a "ranch" in the Trinity Alps in CA in June (no TV, no phone, no NOTHING). They have a pond right in front of the house. Here is the link:

http://www.almayranch.com/

We rented it last year and it was a blast. They have two kitchens (stocked with all the dishes and appliances you'd ever need) and 6 bedrooms. Rivers all around and their own golf course.

The pond is freaking cold. However, we had a some smaller floats and, if we drank enough, dipped into the icy cold water. This year, we'll bring in the "big float" ...

We always shop at Costco. They have really good healthy choices and great prices. And, they take care of their employees.

6. I, too, went to Costco today
and was pleased that I walked away with $368 worth. Of course, $200 of that was for a new monitor (a Viewsonic 19" LCD) so $168 was everything else. Still, that will last me quite a long while, so I can't complain too much.

9. I miss Costco.
There isn't one here. Only Sam's, and I refuse to buy anything from Wal Mart.
