Breast cancer info, please
One of the people closest to me in the entire world has had a recurrence, after 10 years cancer-free. It hasn't metastized to other organs, but it's in both breasts; she'll need chemo, double mastectomy, and then additional treatment, most likely.

This isn't a request for medical advice, but if the thread needs to be locked, I understand. But if any of you have any links, info, advice, I'd appreciate it. She is a scientist and knows what's going on medically, but I need a little help here. I'm grasping at straws, just looking to do some reading at some good, sound websites.

Thanks.

6. My aunt had a lump
tested positive for cancer and got a double mastectomy and she's been fine ever since. She opted for the mastectomy because she didn't want to go through the radiation and chemo. Seems to have worked for her.Everyone is different.
