42. Get another bowl and paddle. Paint them green.
Y'see, the KitchenAid Stand Mixer is the very best tool to use to mix small quantities of highly viscous fluids...specifically, tile setting compounds.

If you suddenly decide you want to change the ceramic tile backsplash to something of a sunnier color, whip up a batch of thinset in your KitchenAid and tile away.

My old boss bought a KitchenAid to mix printing ink in the day he bought the plant. Printing ink is about the consistency of axle grease, and it smells a lot like it. They ran that mixer for 25 years before it died--and it croaked because the city sent us a huge power surge when they were replacing our transformer.

I think if I were going to get any tiling or backsplash done, I would likely hire a professional.

4. She is a beauty!
My son gave it to me as a birthday present. He picked the red. :7

If I were buying it for myself (which I probably never would have...another story indeed), I would have gotten either the red, or the cobalt blue. I love the primary colors.

11. Congrats!
You will love it even more as time goes by.

What I really love about them is the attachment hub never changes. Attachments made today will fit 50 year old mixers and old attachments fit the new mixers. Very cool!.

I am trying to decide which attachment I should get first. The top three for me right now are:

1. The food grinder
2. The food slicer
3. The ice cream maker

If I had a spare $250, I would get all three.

It makes meringue so fast that you won't have time to go to the bathroom while you whip the whites. And it whips cream really fast, too.
