8. it's not too late to stop reading
I can tell you how it ends. Every Hemingway novel ends the same way. Basically, the sh*t hits the fan and gets blown into the characters' faces one way or the other. Quite a downer to read IMO, although it's like jumping off of a 235 story building. Things seem fine for the first 200 floors
