15. Vegetables...hahahahaha
Tofu steamed in tamari, roasted tomatoes, romaine, alfalfa sprouts, cukes, homemade toasted sesame Asian dressing, croutons.

Simple. We're staying off fat, flour and sugar. Croutons was pushing it.

24. It's awesome. It's a whole chicken done like beer can chicken, you make a rub
with dry iced tea mix, paprika, garlic salt, onion salt, etc. You rub the chicken down with the rub and add some rub into a can of iced tea, the chicken sits on the can while you cook it. Then you make the bbq sauce with iced tea in it. I made my own variation with a mixed fruit tea and it is so good!

I can write out the recipe if you want to give it a shot.

Lamb sausage braised over fennel with onions and dry Vermouth.

Whole wheat couscous with pine nuts, raisins, garlic and chopped tomato.

32. It was a hodge podge of different things tonight
Two ears of corn, they looked good, but were just a wee bit tough and starchy. A very nice salmon, feta and spinach pinwheel, and some fresh mozzarella drizzled with olive oil (no tomatoes tonight).

35. Trader Joe's provided the sides
Roasted chicken rubbed with greek seasoning.

Was at TJ's this afternoon and picked up something they call harvest grains -- it contains Israeli cous cous, baby garbanzos, dry green peas, red quinoa and orzo. I cooked that with some chicken broth and finished it with lemon juice. It is very pretty stuff.

Also a sliced seeded baguette with some jarred eggplant-zucchini relish

Also a salad of thin-sliced savoy cabbage, chopped parsley from the garden, red wine vinegar, EVOO and Lawrey's season salt

Also a dish of fresh pears and grapes

So, chicken, grains, salad, bread, fruit.

46. A handful of folks dropped by and we tried a Thai combo.
No one of us was an adept but between the mix we made an edible vat of noodles.

Also we had plenty of cold beer on hand.

We didn't make the beer. We bought it.

But it was still good.
