7. Yep, my cat was orphaned at 2 weeks old and he's like that. I have to admit

that I love what an affectionate, sociable attention hog he is because of that. Nobody can believe it when they meet him for the first time.

I mean, maybe it was, but domestic cats never actually grow up. All that purring, rubbing round your leg, practically everything they do is actually infant behaviour. A grown up cat in the wild would never behave like that.

My mum calls that massaging thing "ponching."
