3. one thread for each home run
Just seemed to make a good copy-cat. We like copy-cats, but the Lounge is not supposed to be LBN.

I think the Alec Baldwin case is now settled law.

4. You saw history being made
4 consecutive one run homers. Never ever happened in a ML Baseball game before this. I watched it .....it was amazing.

5. On consecutive pitches?
It's happened a few times with consecutive batters. The Dodgers did it just last August.

Once, Joe Garagiola hit one of 'em. That was when he was with Pittsburgh, around 1951.

7. That's how it usually works
Notice in a rally, it's usually just one or two pitches per batter? Pitchers lose something off their fast ball or the curve starts to hang, and everybody in the dugout can see it. Plus, guys go back to the dugout and tell everybody what they hit. (Same if they didn't hit it.) So the hitters go up looking for the fast ball or the curve, and when they get it they're all over it.

And since pitchers are always the last to know they're losing something, they keep throwing it until the manager comes out to yank 'em. But by that time, it's like a good virus — hitters go up knowing they're gonna get ahold of one, and it doesn't matter who throws it. So half the time they rack up the reliever, too.
