Windshield question:
How do you get a small scrape out of a windshield? One of my co-workers got a small scrape in his....probably from trying to scrape off ice during the ice storm here in CT last month.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

1. Don't Use A Pick Axe!
I've seen pics of what those will do to windshields here recently :silly:

3. Hey I try!
:hi:

probably you can find something to fix it at an auto parts store, there is some windshield chip repair stuff--don't know the name, you can get.

4. I'd try a cloth wheel and jewelers rouge polish
then a few finer polishing compounds.

How big is the area?

Then get your co-worker a plastic scraper. angle iron and bricks will do the job, but not recommended.

7. On lexan/plexiglass, we used to polish with toothpaste
that might take forever on glass, though
