Those little stickers they put on produce. Am I the only one they annoy?

I guess I understand why they exist but I hate it when they stick to my fingers after peeling them off. :mad:

but I guess it reminds me to wash my fruit before I eat it.

Oddly, those stickers used to ONLY be on bananas, and now bananas seem to be the only fruit without them. :shrug:

everybody knows the produce code for nanners, no sticker needed (I haven't worked in a grocery store in 7 years).

3. Some fruit producers are getting rid of them and using lasers to imprint the label

on the fruit itself. I'm think it just causes discoloration on the skin to make the letters, but I'm not sure

9. That's what I do, too. Except I have a piece of paper stuck with a magnet

on the side of the fridge, with a layered mosaic of them stuck on. :hi:

apples and tomatoes, where you have to scrape the damned skin off and bruise the fruit just to get em off.

HATE them. I wash my produce and still have missed them...can you imagine a sticker after it has gone through the cuisinart?

You have to easily slide them off of your finger and everything. It's brutal. :silly:
