What was the first Queen song that you remember hearing?
"Killer Queen" must have been in jr high - didn't catch all of the lyrics... but I loved the song.

9. Another One Bites the Dust
I'm sure I'd heard a lot of Queen songs before it, I grew up hanging out at a pop radio station with my Dad. But I can remember this song because they played it every time I went to the skating rink, it was HUGE.

14. Another One Bites The Dust
It came out before I was born, but I remember hearing it on the radio and seeing the Terminator at a young age (younger than I was supposed to ;)), where the song was played as Arnie blasted Sarah Connor's roommate and boyfriend.

16. Whatever they played first when I saw them in concert in 1974 or 1975 in
LaCrosse, WI...$5 tickets...went with some friends. Had never heard any of their music until I got there. Can't remember what they played first. Kansas opened for them.

19. Bohemian Rhapsody
I was 11 at the time and had just moved to a new country where they had a program showing the top 50 singles that my sister and I used to watch faithfully every weekend. "Bohemian Rhapsody" had just been re-released in the aftermath of Freddie Mercury's untimely death and the video was being shown on the chart singles program. My sister and I really liked the song and she asked me to get her a Queen tape for her birthday. So I did and my love affair with Queen started

21. Another with Bohemiam Rhapsody
I remember hearing that back in 5th grade. We had a homework assignment where we were to bring in poetry as represented in music and then some of us would be selected to read our 'poems' we chosed. Mine was Bohemian Rhapsody - I love that song!

23. Freddy was Indian
I cannot understand why Faroukh (Freddie Mercury) would hide the fact that he was Indian. I think that's cool.

He's certainly the most famous person of Indian ancestry in show business - worldwide.

He was one of the world's most amazing talents and most gifted showmen. What a loss.

I got a couple of albums as gifts before that but Sheer Heart Attack was the first album I spent my own money on.
