I think my cat is a racist!

Is normally wary when people stop over, especially those who don't stop too often.

Last night my neighbor, who is black, stopped over, and Erin did something I've never seen him do to a visitor.
Growled and hissed at him. :wtf:

the cat doesn't like, on the neigbor's clothes or shoes.

8. Been watching too much TV

Criminals are always black men. Poor kitty can't help but be affected by the media. Arrange some play dates with some black cats. That should help.

But seriously, when I watch animals and realize that they don't even notice color differences, or at least they don't care, I wonder where we got this obsession with skin color. We could learn from them. Well, most of them...but apparently not your kitty :)

20. My late cat did the same thing

I lived in a apartment house and directly across from us was an African-American family. I liked them; they were always polite and nice to me and my SO. My cat hissed at them. I never saw him hiss at anyone else ever.
I assure you he did not pick that up from me or my SO.

It happens with dogs but don't know if is the same with cats. I don't believe it about "race" but a "male show of force" kinda saying this is my house. :shrug:
