Why, for the love of God, do I watch "Beaches" everytime it's on TV
And on Sunday I didn't do it once - BUT TWICE (it was on Oxygen twice).

Man, I bawled my eyes out all day yesterday.

1. Try the Book. It's Better.
It starts in Beach Haven. New Jersey (Long Beach Island) not the Atlantic City of the movie.

2. I've only watched it once...ever.
I was spending time up in Chicago with my best friend since high school and she had rented it for us to watch not long after it came out on video. I balled my eyes out when it was over, too. I had never ever even considered that fact that I could lose my best friend one day and it hit me pretty hard. I've never been tempted to watch it again.
