8. I thought I recognized that tank!
It's indeed the Vancouver (BC) Aquarium in Stanley Park. When I was there in '03, I stood at that very corner, watching what I assume was the same pair of otters floating about. If so, the lighter-haired one is an elderly female survivor of the Exxon Valdez oil spill.

Good God, I LOVE SEA OTTERS!

I love their personalities, they way they crack open shellfish on their tummies
using two stones, and everything about them.

Let them have the first crack at the sea urchins, it's their ocean too!
