Did you ever wonder why you were put here on earth? That question was answered for me today.
I was watching Book TV this morning and Kathleen Kennedy Thompson was on. She is the oldest daughter of Robert F. Kennedy. Her words just blew me away. "If you have enough to eat, then the reason why you are here (on earth) is to help the poor." Bad paraphrase. Incredible wisdom. We are here to help those of us who are poor in wealth, poor in health, poor in hope. People who need a leg up or an encouraging word. I am now going to to try to live my life heeding these words.

2. I saw that.
The contrast with what she said Reagan said was stark.
Don't remember the wording, but basically "We're all on our own and shouldn't depend on others for any help."
Standard repuke "I've got mine".

7. This song
will forever be associated with the Columbia disaster for me, but I believe its basic message applies to a general philosophy of life.

8. Not to be picky but
its Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, also former Lieutenant Governor of Maryland that probably would of been a great governor had she run a better campaign.

19. Yes they are, I call us all the
Zoo Crew. The top row are ferrets. Really neat little fearless monsters that take over and change everything. They are lots of love and laughter in a small package that steal your soul. They also come with this thing called ferret math. Means they multiply even though they usually come spayed and neutered already. The ferret owned will understand.

9. I was living in Maryland when Kathleen ran for Governor. I was very disappointed with the results

of her campaign. I think she would have been a good governor(at least better than Bob "Hair-Lick"). I believe that our country would have been much better off with the Kennedy dynasty and their tradition of helping others rather than the Bush dynasty and their tradition of helping themselves. I think Kathleen's father said it best:

"It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance".

My dad and I were watching Ken Burns' "Baseball" miniseries as we do every year during spring training. Watching Will tell that story always breaks us up. :)
